Hairbrush Paddle?
I recently came across this Hairbrush Paddle and I’m extremely curious about it. I know it’s too late to order for Christmas delivery, but I’d like to know if I’m crazy for wanting it. I’ve heard good and bad about it and unluckily the bad just makes me want it more.
I know, be careful what you wish for, but I can’t help it!
*sigh* Trouble, that’s what that paddle is. Trouble…you know, I think that’s what I’ll name it.
No doubt, Bethie, you’re being greedy. But then, we know that to be the case, don’t we. C’mon. A hairbrush paddle? Like you don’t have two dozen things in the closet that deliver the exact, same thing in Dan’s hands. And no bristles? Aren’t they useful for between-the-smacks teasing? I deem this one overly expensive and redundant. Go bend over your couch immediately.

You know what? You may have a valid argument against that paddle. In fact, I may have to point out what you said about having two dozen other things that have the same impact and suggest to Dan that he toss out the excess toys in the toy bag. After all, just how many canes, paddles, and straps does he really need? What a great idea! Thanks (I think), Goddess! You don’t mind if I tell him it was your idea do you? 😀
OK, here’s the scoop on that paddle. I bought it last year as a Christmas present for my husband. Silly me, I gave it to him on Christmas Eve, with a few other fun things. All I can say is don’t…unless you are one very tough gal! It is by far the worst thing we have.
This is a remarkably successful design, with plenty of weight and plenty of “hot sting.”
This is accurate. It is heavy with a solid thud, but also has a fierce sting when used with any force at all. Grant loves it as he says it does the work for him with “no effort”! That paddle is punishing! Bethie, now you cannot say you have not been warned and Happy Holiday shopping!
Sara, thank you for the info! I keep hearing how awful this paddle is, but it looks so deceiving. And the bit about Grant loving it because of the low effort involved, Dan’s favorite implements have that same appeal! Oh no!!! I may have to rethink this one. 😮

You MUST review it right away. Maybe that’ll be enough to get me off the fence and bent over it…
Bethie, that was the first ‘real’ paddle we bought (not counting the fun fur/leather one we bought at an adult store and killed within months).
When I first got it, I thought I had made a big mistake…but now, I absolutely LOVE it. I have a bit of a leather paddle fetish (I think we’re up to 12), and I have to say that we have NOTHING like this.
It reminds me most of a leather CB paddle, although it’s not the same shape. It’s very hard due to the delrin lining, but it doesn’t have the vicious sting of wood.
I wouldn’t want to take it cold, but it’s the last implement he uses in a majority of our spankings. It has a delicious thwack that is divine one you’re warm. Better yet, it leaves residual tenderness with no marks. (Although I did get broken capillaries when we first started using it, but my butt has toughened up considerably since then).
I have the smaller one. My advice? Go for it. 🙂

We have that A&G leather paddle as well. It can be pretty fierce, but I love it. In fact, it’s one of our favorites. If prefaced by a proper warm-up, this paddle delivers a deliciously rich burning sensation.
If the purpose of a spanking paddle is to make your bottom hurt, this one lives up to the promise. I think you’ll enjoy this kind of trouble (in a teeth gritting sort of way).

Hmm. I see this paddle has quite a fan club. Perhaps I was too quick to dismiss it. But the price tag… Eeek.
