Gone Shopping — 6 Comments

  1. Oh my, I thought for a moment that you were announcing an addition — nesting and ‘should have announced it sooner’ led me so astray. Sounds like shopping is becoming much to fun for you!

  2. Carrielily, yes, a massage! Why didn’t I think of that? 🙂

😆 Kasey, sorry, no little addition to our den. Dan was a serious bachelor when I moved in with him last year and we’ve just moved into a larger place so I’m working at making this place cozy. I’m busy, busy, busy!

  3. Bethie:

Shopping without SO even with the best intentions can have repercussions. Some discusions with my lovely Teddette after shopping alone go like this:

But it was on sale!! (or) (or) We can’t be overdrawn-I still have checks left! (or) They were all on sale!! (or) I was only an hour late. You can get to the fundraiser for the Senator a little late I’m sure he won’t fire you. (or) I knew I forgot to stop for something but after going to three malls to find this bag to match my new shoes I just wanted to get home to you. I’m sorry I forgot to pick up your good suit at the cleaners. You can get it at 5 AM on your way to the airport. You’ll only have to get up an hour early. Just make sure you leave my coffee by the bed on your way out. How about a nice BJ?

These excuses may not save your a** from Dan’s discipline (particularly when he finds the 3 unopened boxes of new shoes in the very back of your closet) but I’ll bet he finds the excuses as fun to listen to as I do.

    Enjoy

  4. Hi Headteddy! Why don’t you guys get it that “sale” equals “buy” in our minds? We’re actually physically unable to leave sale items alone. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. 😉

  5. (sigh) It’s so obvious how in love you are with Dan. It makes me grin and sigh at the same time!
